Banpo Museum is a Neolithic museum located in China, and its cultural relics are famous for pottery. In this ancient environment, its pottery studio, which is open to the public, needed a more lively visual identity to increase the motivation of people to participate.
This design project takes inspiration from the colors in the pottery crafting process (nature/earth/water/fire) and the unique shapes of Banpo potteries. Harmoniously these elements connected history with the modern and vitalized this identity.
